Going Down The Shore This Summer? Check out Some of These Playgrounds in Your Beach Town

As Memorial Day approaches, the warm weather comes in, and the sun sets later, millions will be flocking to the Jersey Shore for yet another beautiful summer. Whether you're at Sandyhook, Seaside Heights, or down by Wildwood there's always a playground to explore.

Asbury Park

Rachel D'Avino Playground is located right on the beach next to the Asbury Park boardwalk. The playground sits right down the road from the famous Asbury Park Convention Hall adjacent to 7th ave. This is Whirl's newest beach playground and the all purple colors are certain to brighten up your beach day.

Belmar

The Belmar Pirate Playground has quickly become one of the most popular play spots on the shore after its renovation last year. Located right on 8th ave on the Belmar Boardwalk the playground sits next to all of the Belmar hotspots, making for a great beach day.

Long Branch

Seven Presidents Park has been a staple in Long Branch for years. Located right before the intersect of Ocean Boulevard and Jolene Avenue, this is a great place to be for the ever growing group of people who call Long Branch their 'home beach.' One of Whirl's larger beach themed playgrounds, it's an awesome spot to be right before getting your feet wet.

Forked River

Stepping more inland and down the shore, Bayfront Park in Forked River has it all. You can catch some shade under the grand gazebo, enjoy lunch on the water with the large selection of outdoor seating, have some fun on the playground, or even get a workout in on the fitness equipment that rounds the park. Located right on the water off of Beach Boulevard, Bayfront Park is a great time for people of all ages.

Sea Isle City

Taking a step back from the boardwalk, the play by the bay playground in Sea Isle City is a great escape from all of the tourists. Located 2 blocks in from the shore at Dealy park on 59th Street, this park is a great spot to be if it's not tanning weather on the beach.

Sea Isle City

Staying in Sea Isle City, about a mile up the road is JFK Boulevard Park. Located a block in from the heart of the Sea Isle City Boardwalk, this new playground is the place to be right after a beach day. The park also features brand new basketball courts that were installed by Whirl. Fun for all ages at one of the best points on the shore.

Keyport

The northernmost playground on this list features Clifwood Beach Waterfront Park. Located right off of Route 35 in Keyport, this park has been a predominant place for those in central Jersey who love the bay. Similar to Seven Presidents Park in Long Branch, this park offers the luxury of being able to step right on before or after your trip to the beach, making it an amazing place to be in the summer.
