One Of Our Favorite Renovations! Allocco Park In Holmdel, NJ

The image below is the playground that shaped Allocco park in years past. It is safe to say that this space was in a dire need of a face lift for its residents.

Deputy Mayor of Holmdel Cathy Weber, who is also the chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee for Holmdel agreed. She explained that "The residents of Holmdel have been reaching out to the Township Committee for some time to request an ADA compliant playground. I am happy that we were able to make this a reality for our children."

With funding from Monmouth county's open space program, Gametime Recreation, as well as Rubberecycle, Holmdel was able to begin the project renovation plans to give this beautiful park a face lift.

Whirl Construction worked on the installation of this project throughout the month of July, with it being completed on July 24th. The playground is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and it features some of Gametime's newest designs. You can take a look at the installation in the video below which features a before and after at the site.

The Township of Holmdel had a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 5th to celebrate the opening of the park which saw the playground packed with many happy locals and their children.

Whirl Construction is very happy for the Township of Holmdel to be able to see this project come to life and we are extremely grateful to have played a part in its completion. We would also like to thank the Monmouth County Board, Gametime, and Rubberecyle for playing a huge part in getting the job done as well.

If you are ever in the area be sure to stop by and bring your children to this incredible park on Middle Road in Holmdel. The township is just as proud of it as we are and the more people that get to experience a new playground like this the better.
